hey! it's me -
I'm the one behind the lens here! I'm a St. Croix, US Virgin Islands based photographer specializing in: wedding, elopement, engagement, family, travel, and brand photography. My photography style is based on capturing authentic moments just as they are - candid, genuine and fun. I love to travel and often visit St. Thomas, St. John, Puerto Rico, and the British Virgin Islands for weddings and photoshoots.
Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, I went to college in Athens, Georgia at UGA, studied abroad in Rome, Italy, then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to work at an advertising agency. After getting married in August 2017 to my husband Alex, we craved a new adventure. We moved to St. Croix in November 2017 after two big hurricanes (some called us crazy) and we've loved every minute of it.
Once we made the move, I began to turn my photography hobby into a business. There are so many outlets of photography that I enjoy, but couples and weddings are my favorite! It's so incredible to be a witness to people's love and I am so thankful to be able to capture it! This island has provided so much room for growth for me and I absolutely love to share it with new island dwellers and people visiting St. Croix. If you're planning to make the move or just coming for a visit - reach out to me! To see more of my work or check out what our island looks like through Instagram stories and more, follow me on social media.
Playing with our new puppy, Luna! We adopted her from the St. Croix Animal Welfare Center and are absolutely obsessed! We also have two outdoor cats (that came with our house!) named Queso & Chiquita.
Hangin' with my husband, Alex! The past two years of marriage have been such an adventure and he is my biggest supporter. Alex works on a charter fishing boat here and loves every minute of it!
Scuba diving and free diving! I started diving in 2015 it's now one of my favorite ways to explore with friends. Just got free diving certified in 2020!
Traveling & island hopping. If we don't have trips off-island already scheduled, then we're usually planning our next adventure! Check out my travel schedule here.
Working in our garden at home. We have so many little projects going on at our house and it's so fun to see things grow!
Reading a good book in a hammock. This always puts me at peace and it's such a good way to recharge for the day!
Living sustainably. Lately, I've been making a huge effort to cut back on my footprint - so we're growing our own food, buying secondhand whenever possible, shopping from small ethically-minded businesses, and cleaning up trash every trip to the beach!
