PART 1 Natalie & Adrian: The King House Wedding - St. Croix, US Virgin Islands Wedding Photographer

Part 1 of 2
Wowww I'm obsessed with this wedding day. Natalie and Adrian live in New York City now, but Adrian grew up on St. Croix and his family still lives here. They decided to get married on our beautiful island - an adventurous destination option with all of the comforts of home. Natalie and Adrian rented out The King House for their intimate wedding ceremony and reception. Located in the Shoys Estate gated neighborhood right outside of The Buccaneer Hotel (another awesome wedding and event venue!), The King House is the perfect vacation villa to use as your rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony site, reception venue and even host a pool or beach party for all of your guests. It has a huge grassy backyard, parking area (they used this as the ceremony site), Caribbean Sea views and located right on Shoys Beach, beautiful pool, large patio space, great kitchen set up for caterers, and four bedroom suites.
Natalie and Adrian planned and set up the whole wedding day themselves, with the help of family and friends. We met at the house the week of the wedding to talk through the final details and logistics to make sure everything went smoothly. They made the beautiful ceremony arch and adorned it with local flowers and greenery, which is a great way to cut costs on florals and incorporate more of a tropical feel. For the reception, all of the guests gathered around the pool where they had a few seating areas, some standing tables and a buffet of local Crucian food.
It was such a fun celebration that was so true to them. They wanted something laid-back and relaxed in a location where they could let loose with their friends. More to come from this wedding! Check out the Part 2 blog post that includes photos of their bride and groom portraits after the ceremony.
