Part 1: St. Thomas Adventurous Elopement Styled Shoot - Virgin Islands Wedding Photographer
Ahh man, I don't know what's taken me so long to blog this styled shoot but here it is! Well, Part 1 at least. Click over here for Part 2.
Jessica Bennett is a wedding planner extraordinaire based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. She had a vacation planned to St. Thomas with her husband and reached out to me about planning a styled shoot while she was here. She sent over a mood board and I immediately wanted to be a part of the magic.
After talking with Jessica and hearing her vision, we decided on the perfect location on the West End of St. Thomas - Botany Bay & Mermaid's Chair. We wanted something that was adventurous, a bit unusual, island views, lots of rocks, and a pretty sunset. Botany Bay & Mermaid's Chair checked all of the boxes. Once we had the location set, Jessica started reaching out to other vendors to gather the decor and details for the shoot.
While Jessica was setting up the decor for the shoot, we went down to one of the beaches at Botany Bay first. With the large black rocks and sloping hillside, this beach was so unique and looks unlike any other place that I've seen in the US Virgin Islands. The beautiful Coralia gown from Carol Hannah Bridal really pulled it all together and looked so pretty in the bright sunlight.
