PART 2 Natalie & Adrian: The King House Wedding - St. Croix, US Virgin Islands Wedding Photographer
Part 2 of 2
Bride and groom portraits are definitely one of my favorite parts of wedding days. Whether they take place during the first look or after the ceremony, it's a chance for the couple to slow down and spend some time with each other. Weddings can totally fly by and it's nice to have a little break built into the timeline to really enjoy the moment and the meaning behind the day.
Natalie and Adrian chose not to do a first look (totally your call!), so we took about 15 minutes after the ceremony and family portraits to grab some shots of them. It's so incredible how many shots you can knock out when you're on a time crunch and I loved every one of these! The King House has the prettiest courtyard and garden at the front of the house, so we chose to shoot here instead of going down to the beach. The sun was setting behind the trees and created the most beautiful golden hour glow.
I love how colorful and tropical their wedding attire was! The bouquet and boutonniere looked absolutely gorgeous. The rocked some cool accessories with Natalie's jeweled headpiece, Katie May dress and cape and Adrian's sunglasses, Panama hat and double-breasted suit. Some series Caribbean wedding style right here.
Check out the photos below. It's a good example (and just a sneak peek) of what we can capture during a few minutes of bride and groom portraits.
